Terms of Service
Welcome to FloppySkill (“FloppySkill”, “we”, “us”). These Terms govern your use of floppyskill.com (the “Site”) and the digital products we sell — Claude skill “floppies” and related files (the “Products”). By using the Site or buying a Product, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
1. What you’re buying
FloppySkill sells digital downloads — packaged skills, prompts, guides, and resources you use with Claude. Products are delivered electronically; nothing physical ships. Access is one-time purchase with lifetime re-download from your library: enter your email and we send you a 6-digit code to sign in.
2. Your license
When you buy a Product, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own personal or business projects. You may use what you build with a floppy commercially (the websites, content, and assets you create are yours).
You may not:
- resell, redistribute, sublicense, or give away the floppy files themselves;
- publish the floppy files publicly (e.g. in a public repo or file share);
- claim the floppies or their underlying skills/prompts as your own product.
In short: build whatever you want with the floppies — just don’t resell the floppies.
3. Intellectual property
All Products, Site content, branding, and the FloppySkill name remain our property (or our licensors’). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Products to you — only the license in Section 2.
4. Payment
Purchases are processed securely by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe handles your card details and billing under its own terms and privacy policy; we never see or store your card number.
5. Refunds
Because Products are digital goods delivered instantly, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once a Product has been delivered. Please review each Product’s description carefully before buying. If a download genuinely doesn’t work, email [email protected] and we’ll fix it or re-send your files — but this does not include a refund.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site — no attempting to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to it or other users’ orders, and no unlawful use of the Products.
7. Third-party tools
FloppySkill Products are designed to be used with Claude (by Anthropic). FloppySkill is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. Your use of Claude is governed by Anthropic’s own terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Products and Site are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the Products will meet every need or produce any specific result. AI output can vary; you’re responsible for reviewing what you generate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, FloppySkill is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Product in question.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
